The Stony Brook stream crossing is in need of a new bridge.
Join the Connecticut Chapter of the Appalachian Mountain Club on Saturday, August 11th from 9 a.m to 3 p.m and help build a bridge across Stony Brook. No experience needed. Gain great skills in timber bridge construction.
The group will be meeting at the Breadloaf Mountain hiker parking lot near the junction of of Routes 7 & 4 in Cornwall Bridge, Connecticut. Be sure to wear sturdy boots, long pants, and work gloves. Also, bring your own lunch, personal snacks, a rain jacket, insect repellent, and plenty of water.
