Development Events Internship
Location: ATC Headquarters; Harpers Ferry, WV
The Appalachian Trail Conservancy (ATC) is seeking a Development Intern to assist in the Membership and Development Department. Under general supervision, the Development Intern will assist in multiple functions related to event/meeting facilitation, planning, ticketing, registration, etc. and will also assist with the events database.
Responsibilities
- Assist in event & meeting set-up and execution
- Work with vendors/hosts to plan and organize events
- Develop Follow-up reports
- Registration, RSVP, Ticketing, etc.
- Assist with events database system
- Assist in internal and external document production
Skills and Specifications
- Has or is working towards a Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Great organizational skills
- Ability to converse and accommodate members and guests
- Creative writing and design skills a plus
