Development Events Internship

Location: ATC Headquarters; Harpers Ferry, WV

The Appalachian Trail Conservancy (ATC) is seeking a Development Intern to assist in the Membership and Development Department. Under general supervision, the Development Intern will assist in multiple functions related to event/meeting facilitation, planning, ticketing, registration, etc. and will also assist with the events database.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in event & meeting set-up and execution
  • Work with vendors/hosts to plan and organize events
  • Develop Follow-up reports
  • Registration, RSVP, Ticketing, etc.
  • Assist with events database system
  • Assist in internal and external document production

Skills and Specifications

  • Has or is working towards a Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Great organizational skills
  • Ability to converse and accommodate members and guests
  • Creative writing and design skills a plus
