Count of American Chestnut Trees

Count all trees whose tallest live stem is 3 ft. or more in height and whose base is within 15 ft. of the Trail. Count multiple shoots from a single root system as one tree.

Count of Doubtful Identifications of American Chestnut Trees

Do not include this number in the above counts.

Number of Large American Chestnut Trees

"Large Trees" have circumference 13 inches or more at 4.5 ft. above the ground. Include this number in your overall count of American chestnut trees. Please complete a "Large Tree" Chestnut Report Form for each large tree.
