Make an Annual Fund Gift Online

Annual Fund 
By making a gift online, you ensure that future generations will enjoy the clean air and water, scenic vistas, wildlife and opportunities for simple recreation and renewal along the entire Trail corridor. ATC accepts the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express, as well as its own ATC credit card through Bank of America (both Visa and MasterCard). Credit card gifts can also be made by phone -- please contact the development office at 304-535-6331, ext. 120. 

Make a Gift of ATC Membership

Gift memberships
Giving a gift membership is a wonderful way to spread the knowledge about the Appalachian Trail and the thousands of volunteers who protect and maintain this national treasure. New members receive all the benefits of membership including six issues of A.T. Journeys, discounts on ATC merchandise, and a decal for your car. 

Make a Gift of Stock

Gifts of appreciated securities or stock are a quick and easy way for you to make a meaningful gift to ATC, avoid capital gains and receive a tax deduction for the fair market value at the time of the transfer. When making a gift of stock, please always contact your own financial planner before making the gift.

Make a donation in memory of a loved one and ATC will send a personalized letter to the bereaved family acknowledging your thoughtfulness. You will also receive a personalized acknowledgement.

Celebrate the special occasions of friends or family with a gift to protect and conserve the Appalachian Trail.  Personalized acknowledgements will be sent to you and the special person you are honoring.

When thinking about your financial planning, keep in mind that by naming ATC in your will as a beneficiary, or by establishing charitable gift annuity or charitable trust, you are not only supporting the future of the A.T. -- you may also realize financial and tax benefits for you and your loved ones. Supporters who do make a planned gift are welcomed into the Appalachian Trail Legacy Society. As a member, you will receive benefits such as advance notice to special events, a listing in our annual report, a beautiful calendar, and occasional insider updates.  Please consult your own financial planner or tax advisor before making a planned gift.
