Tennessee A.T. License Plate

The Tennessee legislature gave the nod for the creation of a specialty license plate for the Appalachian Trail. Funds produced from the sale of the plate will be shared with the Appalachian Trail Conservancy for the support and management of the Appalachian Trail.

  • Your help now will help us reach our goal swiftly. Since we must show support from Tennesseans to even get the plates in production, procrastination isn’t an option.
  • The plate will help the Appalachian Trail long into the future as a permanent source of funding.
  • The design looks great.
  • It’s a great way to say “I care about the Trail” and see others who feel the same.
  • You get a free one-time annual membership to the ATC.*

How much is it?

A standard, numerical A.T. license plate will cost $35 and a personalized one will cost $70—in addition to the regular vehicle registration fee. ATC will receive $15.56 of the fees for each plate produced or renewed.
