Smokies Wilderness Elite Appalachian Trail Club

The ATC SWEAT Club, a new A.T. maintaining club maintains forty miles of remote A.T. sections (Greer Knob to Welch Ridge and Dry Sluice Gap to Camel Gap) in the Smokies. The SWEAT Club is responsible for all A.T. maintenance and management of these A.T. sections, in cooperation with the Smoky Mountains Hiking Club and Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Trail Section and Shelter Adoption

Trail sections and shelters along the club's 40 miles of Trail are available for adoption. Periodic group trips for specific projects will be planned as needed throughout the year.
