Sawyer Certification

ATC's sawyer certification program teaches Appalachian Trail volunteers how to safely operate a chain saw or crosscut saw to remove downed trees and cut materials needed for Trail projects. We offer free training courses, free personal protective equipment (PPE), and reimbursement of first-aid and/or CPR certification costs.
