Tennessee A.T. License Plate
In Tennessee, a committee of volunteers from Tennessee Eastman Hiking and Canoeing Club, Smoky Mountains Hiking Club, and other A.T. enthusiasts and hikers, has garnered the support of a bill for a specialty A.T. License plate in that state. House Bill 2616 and Senate Bill 2622 will be taken up this legislative session.
After the bill is approved, we will be required to secure 1,000 applicants for the specialty plate in Tennessee. Revenue sharing from the sale and renewal of each plate will return over $15 to the Appalachian Trail Conservancy.
