ATC to Host Holiday Open House

Harpers Ferry, WV - The Appalachian Trail Conservancy will host its fourth annual Holiday Open House from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday December 1, 2007.

You are invited to stop by for hot cider, coffee and cookies with ATC staff and volunteers, and shop for gifts, maps, and guidebooks in our Visitors Center.  Information on the Appalachian Trail and hiking the Trail is also available at the Visitors Center. Be sure to check out the new A.T. Museum Society’s exhibit showcasing Benton MacKaye’s typewriter and Myron Avery’s measuring wheel while you are here.
