About the A.T. Landscape Partnership

The A.T. Landscape Partnership—co-convened by the Appalachian Trail Conservancy and the National Park Service—includes conservation leaders representing agencies and organizations along the entire length of the Trail. The group's mission is to connect and conserve the natural, ecological, cultural, historic, scenic, recreational and community values of the exceptional landscape associated with the A.T. and the Appalachian Mountain Range.

Since 2015, the group has met annually to embrace a shared vision and mission, design the framework for coalition governance and communications, identify priority focus areas along the A.T. and build strategies to advance land conservation in (and beyond) those focus areas. The latest gathering was held in October 2017 in Shepherdstown, WV and included more than 70 participants.
