Public Notice: NPS/ATC Proposed Land Exchange in Cumberland and Dauphin Counties, Pennsylvania
Open for public comment June 9, 2017 –July 9, 2017

The National Park Service (NPS) is seeking public comment on a proposed land exchange between the NPS and the Appalachian Trail Conservancy (ATC). The NPS proposes to transfer to ATC a 1.6 acre tract in Boiling Springs of Cumberland County, Pennsylvania and receive a 76.7 acre tract from ATC on Peters Mountain near Duncannon in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. Restrictions are proposed on the transfer of land in Boiling Springs from NPS to ATC to protect historic resources.
