Beth Critton, of West Hartford, Connecticut, who practices land-use and environmental law, including at the appellate level, is serving a second term on the Board and is the current chair of its Stewardship Council. A Penn State and University of Connecticut law-school graduate and an ATC life member, she is a past chair of the Connecticut Chapter of the Appalachian Mountain Club. The mother of a thru-hiker, she has hiked nearly the entire A.T.
