Foundation Support  

The Appalachian Trail Conservancy (ATC) is thankful for the generous support of the philanthropic community which enables the ATC to carry out many of our vital programs that fall under our strategic vision. Corporate foundations such as REI Gives support the ATC’s volunteer coordination efforts and education activities. For over a decade the ATC has received a gift from L.L. Bean for our high successfully L.L Bean Grants to Clubs program in which our 31 affiliated cubs can apply for monies to help cover the cost of projects along the A.T. The ATC is also fortunate to receive funding for the much needed and often overlooked general operating costs from foundations such as the F.M. Kirby Foundation.
